We do not independently store, record, or retain any audio recordings of your voice.

Device Information

If you choose the enhanced cloud-based option, your audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for processing, which may provide improved accuracy for some users. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by their privacy policy. You can choose your preferred option in the app's Settings.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

Google Text-to-Speech: The app uses your device's built-in text-to-speech engine to speak text aloud. This processing occurs on your device.

OpenAI Whisper API: If you select the cloud-based speech recognition option in Settings, your audio is sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. No personal identifying information is included with these requests. OpenAI's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Since most data processing occurs on your device, the risk of data breach is significantly minimized.

2. Eligibility

 

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

 

3. User Accounts and Subscriptions

 

Leslie Forever Plan: The Leslie app offers a one-time purchase plan ("Leslie Forever") for $275.00, which provides lifetime access to all app features.

Free Trial: New users may be eligible for a 14-day free trial period to evaluate the App before purchasing.

Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final. However, if you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the App, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue or discuss options.

 

4. Acceptable Use

 

You agree to use the App and Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

10. Limitation of Liability

 

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LESLIE HEARS ME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP OR WEBSITE.

 

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
